Temporary unavailability of the Museum elevator

We would like to inform our visitors that, due to complete renovation works on the system, the elevator of the Teatro alla Scala Museum will be temporarily out of service from 19 July to 2 September 2026.

During this period, access to the museum itinerary and to the view over the Theatre’s auditorium on the first floor will only be possible via the stairs.

In order to ensure access to the Museum itinerary, limited to the view over the Theatre, an alternative route has been reserved for visitors using wheelchairs or walking aids, allowing them to reach the auditorium directly from the Theatre’s stalls.
